Why is India Still a Developing Country?

April 24, 2011 in Corruption, Education, Effects, Nation Developers, terrorism, Youth

India is the vast country, it has the many languages, regions and many different cultures. It also has a good land features also. for example-hilly areas in the north region, moderate temperature in the central of India and coastal regions towards the south region.
When India regained it’s Independence in 1947,after that they lose their position and become weaken after with the passage of time .so, many causes are there which led down the India and still India is not regaining strength that’s why still count in the race of developing countries.
The reasons responsible for the led down of India are following:-

Corruption:
This is domain character inherited by most of the politicians and government officials. Starting from people who sweep the roads to the MLA’s (Member of Legislative assembly) you come across corruption. If any important work is to be done by the government with immediate action, it is understood that we may have to bribe them.
We are so used to these shameless acts that our minds have stopped feeling hesitated. If officials like them stop being so greedy, India will hit the top. According to a recent study, such corrupt officials get rich quicker by the bribe (which is almost thrice their allotted income).

Weak Education system:
There is no doubt that Indians are brilliant. They do not get the right encouragement. In developed countries like USA, Geramany, Scottland and many more, learning seems so much fun for the students. Unlike India there are not many students in such developed nations who say “I want to quit studying and start earning”. A recent study has revealed that India is the country which faces most number of teenage suicides in the world. The main reason behind this is that students are terribly burdened. School students have to come across public/board exams in order to get into pre university colleges. These kinds of exam systems bring in so much pressure to the students that few of them literally begin trembling with fear. There are so many parents who put a barrier to their kid’s freedom thinking that they will get distracted. They restrict the kids from playing, watching television, etc. Their only intension is that their wards should get good marks in the exam so that they get to seek admission in well reputed colleges.

Population:
India is very large in the areas. It is the seventh largest country in the world and due to that fact, it has high density of population. so, it is difficult to provide resources to each and every individual of the country.

Poverty:

Majority of Population of India which is living in backward areas are still has income below poverty line. The poverty is the main reason which is responsible for the low per-capita income of an individual.

Terrorism: It is the big problem for the whole of world. due to which many innocent persons have lost their houses and lives. many of the people are still living under the load of this disastrous act.

Indians are great, but India is not. If we overcome these drawbacks we can easily become developed. This article is not only what I wanted to express out to the world but it is also a message to Indians to rise up.
